CHESTNUT RIDGE PRESERVE is a 90-Acre parcel of land planned by the current owner for low-density development and protection of 2500 feet of Trivette Branch Creek, a native brook trout stream, and its surrounding wetlands and forest. Elevation varies from 3800′ to 4500′. The property is located between Howard Creek Road and Junalaska Road. Three 10-acre building sites, located on broad, flat ridges, with awesome LONG-RANGE MOUNTAIN VIEWS, WITH SUNRISE AND SUNSET, are accessed from the higher elevation on the Junaluska Road side.

Current planning is for three building sites at the higher level and two at the lower, opposite access. Other than the building envelopes, the remaining acreage is intended for conservation and protection. Owner will consider further suggestions regarding sale of the full 90 acres or conservation easement tax credits.

The building sites, forest, wetlands, stream and wildlife will be protected and respected for their uniqueness and value to our heritage.

Because the higher elevation access is about two miles north of Boone, and the lower elevation access is about four miles from from Boone, the wilderness has its own identity but is only minutes from downtown Boone and Appalachian State University. Privacy with convenience.
